Daniel is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience delivering project, cost and commercial management services across industrial, logistics, residential, healthcare, education, defence, infrastructure, and aviation sectors.
He specialises in client-side commercial leadership across complex developments, working in Quantity Surveying, Employer’s Agent, and Project Management roles under NEC and JCT contracts. Daniel is highly experienced in procurement, cost planning, and contract administration, with a consistent focus on commercial control, risk management, and value delivery.
His experience includes major industrial and logistics schemes such as Project Ant (£200m), where he acted as Lead Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent, managing post-contract change, variation negotiation, and financial reporting on a large-scale distribution facility.
He has also delivered NEC3 Option C commissions including the Wick Archive Facility (£21m) for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, providing cost and project management services including target cost control, risk governance, and pain/gain mechanisms.
Additional experience includes housing delivery for the Greater Manchester Pension Fund HIF programme (£25m), healthcare schemes such as Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (£10m), and infrastructure, defence, and aviation projects including work with Babcock Defence & Security, United Utilities, and Bristol Airport.
