Darren has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in cost management across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, culture, education, residential and infrastructure projects. He has successfully delivered projects of various scales and complexities, with values ranging from £500k to £100m.

Darren’s expertise extends to working with a diverse array of clients, including public sector organisations, local authorities, and housing associations in areas such as Oldham and Rochdale. His in-depth understanding of public sector procurement and contract administration processes enables him to navigate complex frameworks efficiently, making him a valuable team member in managing these types of projects.

In addition to his public sector work, Darren has also collaborated extensively with private sector clients, contributing to large-scale developments in the Northwest region for companies such as Bruntwood, Cityheart Ltd. and Barings Real Estate. His experience spans working with leading firms such as EC Harris, Gardiner & Theobald, and Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), where he managed teams of cost engineers.
