A qualified Chartered Surveyor for over 35 years, David is a founding director of Russell Bolton Consulting.

David recently was the partner responsible for leading a large cost consultancy team at RLB’s Manchester office. He has experience in all sectors of construction covering both public and private capital investments. David has significant experience in delivering a wide range of projects including significant new build HQ office buildings, new build and refurbishment projects including commercial offices, all grades of hotels from economy up to luxury, commercial retail including shell and core and full fit out, high end residential, further education and university campus developments.

David has gained a wide range of experience in different sectors in both public and private domains. He has worked in the North West region for RLB, Deloitte Real Estate, Hargreaves Jones, EC Harris, Arcadis and AYH.

His blue-chip client portfolio contains some of the biggest names in UK industry including the NDA, the Home Office, Aviva Investors, Barclays CRE, Bet 365, Hilton Hotels, Corus Hotels, Principal Hayley Hotels, ITV Plc, Manchester Airports Group, Peel Holdings, Mitchells and Butlers, the Universities of Salford, Sheffield and Leeds, Morrisons, Chethams School of Music, Chester Zoo and many others.

David has been responsible for many schemes of varying complexity and value utilising many of the standard forms of contract and procurement routes.
